We are seeking a Marketing Sales Enablement Specialist to support our Vendor Marketing team at REI. This role will be crucial in building and executing sales and program collateral to empower the sales team, enhance campaign effectiveness, and drive successful partnerships with outdoor brands. The ideal candidate will have a background in retail media or agency-based sales enablement, with strong skills in creating sales materials, presentations, and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Collateral Development: Assist in creating and refining sales materials, presentations, and resources to support the sales team and vendor campaigns.
- Post-Campaign Reporting: Support the creation of post-campaign reports and presentations to showcase campaign results, insights, and learnings.
- Sales Strategy: Assist in building and refining sales strategies to maximize vendor engagement and drive successful outcomes.
- Campaign Support: Collaborate with Account Leads and campaign management teams to ensure effective communication and the successful execution of vendor marketing strategies within REI campaigns.
- Sales Enablement Programs: Help design and implement sales enablement programs and resources that empower the sales team, ensuring they have the tools and content needed throughout the sales cycle.
- Content Distribution: Collaborate with Account Leads to create and distribute content tailored to various stages of the sales process, ensuring sales teams are equipped with up-to-date information.
- Feedback & Optimization: Continuously gather feedback from stakeholders and analyze performance data to optimize sales processes, programs, and materials.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 3-4+ years of experience in sales, content marketing, or campaign management, ideally within retail media, retailer monetization programs, or agency environments.
- Sales Strategy and Reporting: Demonstrated experience in building sales collateral, developing sales strategies, and creating post-campaign reports.
- Media Planning & Campaign Knowledge: Strong understanding of media planning, integrated marketing campaigns, and cross-platform media strategies.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, build timelines, and execute to deadlines with attention to detail.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint for creating sales materials and presentations.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, storytelling, and deck-building skills. Ability to present effectively to internal and cross-functional teams.
- Self-Starter: A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and innovating within the sales enablement process.
- Bonus (Nice-to-Have): 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or campaign planning, particularly within a retail media context.
What Makes This Role Exciting:
- Growth Opportunity: This is a rare opportunity to be part of building a retail media network from the ground up. The team currently lacks sales collateral, so you'll play a pivotal role in creating everything needed to support sales success.
- Flexibility: This position is fully remote, with the chance to contribute to a high-impact project that drives the success of the Vendor Marketing group.
- Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a dynamic team of Account Leads, Sales, and Marketing professionals to shape the future of REI's vendor relationships and marketing strategy.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48.00 to $53.71 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
