What You'll Do
As the Market Development Coordinator, you'll work closely with our Market Development Specialists to coordinate the timely and accurate execution and tracking of market development initiatives designed to increase agent, client, and prospect engagement while supporting profitable growth objectives for each business unit (Transportation and Regional). In addition, you'll:
- Provide visitor assistance while on campus (reserve hotel rooms, meeting rooms, catering, golf shuttle services, communicate visitor requirements for the building)
- Coordinate associate events (anniversaries, team building, retirement and other celebrations)
- Coordinate small department events
- Inventory and order office supplies
- Process invoices for department leadership
- Organize annual holiday cards and gift baskets
- Monitor the general mailboxes and handle requests
- Manage external user access requests
- Obtain and process agent licenses, appointments, and ensure all pertinent documents are current.
- Prepare and distribute approved communications to increase agent and customer engagement for the business units
- Collaborate with market development and sales associates to develop and customize presentations and supporting materials for agent meeting and events.
- Coordinate timely delivery of marketing assets in support of key industry association marketing efforts as assigned.
- Generate and monitor email distribution lists.
- Provide systems support to internal customers and external agents with questions regarding Sentry's quoting and policy issuance system and portals.
- Support Market Development Specialists with event and trade show preparation and hosting by updating project plans, preparing communications, assisting with event set-ups and other event details.
- Work with the Market Development team to offer suggestions and creative, new ideas for efficiencies for future projects/campaigns.
- Perform other job-related duties as needed.
What it Takes
- Associates Degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field strongly preferred
- 0-2 years of related work experience with previous marketing or sales experience beneficial
- Demonstrated experience with various software and office applications including Microsoft Office Suite; CRM systems, PolicyCenter, and Insight or other policy issuance systems and iContact or other email distribution software experience preferred
- Problem solving, self-starter with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and efficiently and effectively meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with great attention to detail
