Our client, a major medical device company is looking for a MadCap Flare Specialist to join their team on a freelance basis.
This will be a fully remote role, 20 hours/week for about 3-6 months.
This MadCap Flare Specialist will be responsible for:
- Layout 2 sets of templates and build stylesheets in MadCap Flare including-- quick start guide (QSG) & technical user guide (UG).
The QSG is a new template and approximately 1/3 the size of the UG which is an existing template in FrameMaker. Once templates are approved, populate copy and graphics from Word Doc into template for 2 QSG. This will be done as a phased approach. Each QSG will be under 100 pages and may have multiple versions. QSG will be exported for print specifications, digital PDF, and HTML. After the QSG, migrate 2 UG content from Framemaker into MadCap Flare. UG are ~300 pages and also have multiple versions.
Educate and train team on how best to utilize MadCap Flare for content editing, ongoing updates, and the migration of additional user guides from FrameMaker to MadCap.
This MadCap Flare Specialist will need:
- 3+ years experience with MadCap Flare
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data.
