Job Title: Linux Systems Analyst Location: Houston, TX 77008 (2x on site, 3x remote) Duration: 12 months + Extension We are seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our Linux servers and related components to ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance. This role requires a deep understanding of Linux Server operating systems and monitoring tools to maintain high standards of reliability and operational efficiency. - Install, configure, and maintain Linux Server operating systems and related software.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively address issues to ensure uptime and scalability.
- Scripting for managing configurations and vulnerability patching.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose, and solve operating system issues.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models, plan and execute infrastructure upgrades.
- Familiarity with networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN) and protocols.
- Vulnerability patching and configuration remediation
- Bash, Python, or Ansible scripting
