Join our Service Engineer Team
Our team operates in upstream oil and gas services. Specifically, we provide technical support and expertise for Upper Completions systems/equipment. This position is specific to our well monitoring technologies which includes downhole gauges, fiber optics and associated data acquisition systems. The goal of this product segment is to deliver critical downhole data to our customers, allowing them to monitor the health and performance of downhole assets.

As a LSS Engineer, you'll specialize in our well monitoring portfolio and provide technical support from project planning to field execution. A large portion of this role includes well commissioning which involves establishing data communications between well monitoring products & the customers SCADA System (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition System). In addition to commissioning new systems, this role also interfaces directly with clients to troubleshoot existing well monitoring systems. This role is also responsible for maintaining rental equipment associated with installing well monitoring products.
As a LSS Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical support and expertise, internally and externally, for downhole electronic gauges, fiber optics and associated data acquisition systems.
- Performing interface and data communications testing between our well monitoring equipment & other 3rd party systems.
- Occasionally traveling to client well sites / production facilities to commission new topsides data acquisition equipment. This includes equipment installation & data mapping from Baker Hughes equipment to the customers' SCADA system.
- Occasionally travelling to client well sites / production facilities to troubleshoot existing systems.
- Acting as the single point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns. Responsible for knowledge of assigned region and products, and represents the most direct access to all appropriate internal functions to support the customer.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- 5+ years of experience specializing in electronics, computer communications, networking,
- .A background in basic electronics, data acquisition & communications protocols (Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, FTP, etc).
- Experience in Commissioning or Troubleshooting electronic / fiber optic gauge systems.
