Position Overview
Tiffany & Co. are inviting you to apply for the role of Lead Product Designer, to join the Global Digital, Omni and CRM team in creating exceptional customer and brand experiences across our luxury ecommerce properties, retail tools, and digital in-store experiences. This hands-on role is based out of our New York head office, within the Flatiron area. You will report directly to the UX Director, collaborating closely with our talented team of international multi-disciplined designers.
As the Lead Product Designer at Tiffany & Co., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual design and aesthetic of our digital products. You will lead the UI design efforts, ensuring that our digital interfaces are not only visually stunning but also intuitive and user-friendly. Your work will directly impact the way customers interact with our brand online, enhancing their overall experience.
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a user centric approach to their work and show their experience in delivering elevated and intuitively designed digital experiences that have been crafted with direct input from user insights, analytics, and brand principles.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead projects from concept to final implementation, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing design language across all digital platforms.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysis, developers, and marketing, to create visually compelling and user-centric designs.
- Oversee the day-to-day tasks and outputs of our international digital design partners & agencies.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital products.
- Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other designers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure Tiffany & Co. remains at the forefront of digital design innovation.
- Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and interactive designs to effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders and development teams.
- Ensure that all UI designs are aligned with Tiffany & Co.'s brand identity and aesthetic standards.
- Develop, validate, and execute product strategies across teams, initiatives, and channels to help drive a luxury omni-channel experience to all our customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Visual Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces.
- Must be based and eligible to work in the USA (NYC)
- Proven experience leading design projects and mentoring junior designers.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for creating pixel-perfect designs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated user-centric approach to work, with experience in delivering elevated and intuitively designed digital experiences crafted with direct input from user insights, analytics, and brand principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the eCom and luxury or fashion industry.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Knowledge of UX principles and best practices.
- Be familiar with user insight generating and validating methods and tools, such as User Testing & Research, AB/MVT, and Analytics (ContentSquare).
The hiring range for this position ranges from $134,810 - $190,320. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
