Job Description:
Now hiring a Junior Project Manager to work 100% on-site near Ft. Belvoir in Newington/Alexandria, Virginia. Must have an active DOD TS/SCI Security Clearance per the client. Six month W2 contract to FTE with a W2 rate between $50-65/hr.Job Description:
- Will communicate with the team, stakeholders, and Government representatives to ensure the project delivers the expected capabilities
- Will solve challenges through a combination of perseverance and utilizing the team’s full depth of collected knowledge
- Supports a dynamic work environment with multiple competing priorities
- Leads efforts of various sizes to support a mission focused customer providing reliable, innovation IT solutions
- Will utilize both soft and hard IT Project Management skills to deliver the expected capability
Required Experience and Skills:
- 4+ years of transferrable skills as a Project Coordinator, Business Analyst or Junior Project Manager
- Experience working on IT projects and directly with software engineers and administrators
- Experience liaising between technical teams and customers
- Strong communication skills
- Effective leadership
- Team management
- Organizational skills
Security #Clearance Level:
- Active DOD TS/SCI Security Clearance Required
Preferred:
- Certified Scrum Master or Agile experience
- Project Management Professional
- Certified Associate Project Management
- Bachelors Degree
