NOW HIRING - Day Cleaners for NIKE Distribution Centers in east Memphis area.
Immaculate Facility Services is always looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated employees who are willing to continually learn and improve their cleaning skills. Position works rotating weekends.
Position Highlights:
Part & Full Time Availability with Rotating Weekends
Shift Availability:
1st Shift - 7:00am-3:30pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide immaculate cleaning services throughout the warehouse facility.
Oversee workflow of staff for efficient productivity and successful completion of duties, delegate work assignments as appropriate
Maintain clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces.
Dust and clean furniture, mirrors, walls, machines, and equipment
Periodically, strip, seal, wax and buff floors using buffing machine.
Clean and keep break room areas and/or floors neat and tidy.
Clean and service restrooms with rags, brushes, mops and disinfectants
Replenish supplies i.e., soap, towels and other dispensable items.
Mix various cleaning agents and use cleaning solution to remove stain and clean surfaces.
Identify, and report possible repairs and/or negative conditions.
Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, powered and/or hand operated industrial trucks.
Attend to emergencies and perform other job-related duties as necessary. Qualifications:
Previous cleaning experience in an industrial setting
Must know how to use common housecleaning implements, such as mops, floor waxes and scouring pads, to keep areas clean and well serviced.
Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong - It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
Ability to endure long hours of continuous work when called upon to do so.
Physical efforts required by the job includes walking, standing, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Must know how to care for equipment, how to measure cleaning solutions, and be alert to hazards.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Detailed and team oriented.
Must be able to work independently and accomplish goals with little direct supervision.
