McGuireWoods is seeking an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join our Business Services team in our Richmond, VA office. The specialist will administer IT-focused procurement, including supplier relations, order and agreement negotiations, and the processing of purchase orders and invoices. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and a collaborative team player.

Responsibilities:- Participate in IT projects, identify procurement needs, and coordinate the purchase and leasing of IT-related goods and services.
- Review and process purchase orders, project invoices, maintenance renewals and subscriptions to ensure accuracy and proper billing procedures are followed.
- Maintain vendor relationships, assist with customer service, and participate in vendor meetings.
- Follow established procedures to negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with vendors and assist in the negotiation of contract agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), and renewal agreements to address changes in scope or organizational requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of basic accounting functions and apply it to support job responsibilities.
- Provide backup support to the IT Procurement Manager and escalate issues as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or three to five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and standard contract terms, including SLAs, software agreements, SOWs, and project engagements.
- Ability to review and process purchase orders, invoices, renewals, and subscriptions.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent skills in negotiation, analysis, and organization.
- Professional demeanor with outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, capable of effectively representing the firm while building strong relationships with internal and external clients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.
