Are you up for the opportunity of a lifetime? If so, we are seeking an Inventory Cost Accounting Manager who will play a key role in our Controllers organization. This role will be critical in ensuring that our Company continues to drive improvement through organic and acquisitive growth. This position will play a key role in analyzing financial results and helping our Company maintain a financial statement cadence and regiment.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Day-to-Day Accounting Activities: Responsible for America’s inventory accounting, including daily review and analysis of Company sales and margins and leading the month-end close of inventory and related accounts. The Inventory Cost Accounting manager is responsible for analyzing and maintaining inventory reserves, reviewing month end reconciliations, as well as leading the Company’s annual physical inventory. This role interfaces with the Company’s Americas business units daily to analyze sales margins as well as to function as a resource to investigate and correct inventory related issues within the Company’s Peoplesoft ERP system.
- Process Redesign & Improvement: This role will be responsible for serving as the key liaison between IT and the business to identify and troubleshoot issues within the Peopelsoft ERP system, in addition to evaluating current processes and procedures with a lens toward streamlining cumbersome or manually intensive work.
- Teamwork: Ability to be flexible, multi-task, and effectively communicate well with the Controllers group as well as business unit Operations teams throughout the Americas.
- Annual Audit: Participate in all facets of the annual audit.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of increasingly relevant experience with inventory cost accounting, Peoplesoft experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial processes, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Proven technical accounting skills and a strong process orientation.
- Outstanding communicator; proven ability and desire to interface cross-functionally, and with outside service providers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial software systems, including Excel, Power BI and other data management capabilities.
- Detail and project oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
