Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This is a full-time position ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to keeping operations running safely and efficiently. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the operation of production machinery and mechanical systems, with hands-on maintenance and repair work across various equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using diagrams, schematics, and precision testing tools.
Inspect, remove, and replace defective parts, using hoists, cranes, and a variety of hand and power tools.
Determine and adjust dimensional accuracy of mechanical parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Use shop tools and equipment to fabricate or modify parts for repair needs.
Reduce downtime by educating production teams on basic maintenance routines and ensuring compliance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
Manage and track inventory levels for parts and supplies.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment, complying with all company procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Keep up with industry best practices by attending training and reviewing technical materials.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
Strong working knowledge of conveyor systems, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and machine repair.
Must be available to work 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM as needed, including every other Saturday.
Willingness to travel to job sites or other facilities when required.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and measuring devices.
Physically able to lift and move heavy parts and work in various industrial environments.
