The In-Line Inspection Workshop Manager is responsible for optimizing the customer service level throughout the shop process in full compliance with the business Quality, HSE, Integrity goals and policies.As an ILI Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing safety, production, and cost/quality for In-Line Inspection and working directly with the Quality and HSE Manager to ensure company goals and standards are met.
- Managing production and maintenance activities to prioritize operational demand, minimize tool refurbishment cycle, reduce maintenance costs, and develop condition-based maintenance strategies.
- Driving continuous improvement culture and initiatives through Lean 6S implementation, visual management, root cause analysis, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Kaizen.
- Working with the Application Engineering team to ensure that the equipment reliability and performance are consistently high, aiming to continually raise the first run success rate (CRS/TRS/ORS) to industry-leading standards and meet annual goals for the US Land Region.
- Identifying, developing, and implementing Variable Cost Projects (VSP) for shop operations and delivering productivity to meet the annual VCP US Region target, reducing the cost of shop operations.
- Being able to actively support and challenge strategic sourcing and inventory management to provide the lowest repair costs and minimal excess inventory in accordance with operational demand forecasts.
- Enabling business growth through a mindset of stable shop execution in a high volume environment and mass production mindset approach.
- Maximizing allocation and planning of shop resources to ensure delivery timeframe and budgets are met with maximized resource utilization across technologies.
- Implementing and leading Assembly Maintenance and Overhaul (AMO) shop programs, accountable for AMO performance dashboard using Maximo Shop Production Tool.
- Developing a proactive, forward-thinking mindset for finding new ways of working, and simplifying processes in the shop operations with creative, out-of-the-box thinking.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor's degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in equipment refurbishment and maintenance.
- Have 5 years' experience in equipment refurbishment and maintenance.
- Have 3 years in a leadership role in a Assembly, Maintenance, and Overhaul environment.
- Have knowledge of Lean 6S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Have familiarity and ability to manage maintenance activities systems (Ex. SAP/Oracle, Maximo, MaPS, etc.).
