What You'll Do
Provide customer service support at the Wellness Center front desk by greeting members and providing prompt information to current and prospective members. Additionally, you'll:
- Perform general administrative tasks at the Wellness Center front desk such as greeting members, answering phones, responding to emails, folding towels and answering in person inquiries.
- Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance of exercise equipment and maintain equipment, towel, and locker service inventory.
- Monitor member safety and maintain security of the Wellness Center confirming all members are scanned upon entry and memberships are up to date. Processes new memberships, files paperwork, and enforces Wellness Center policies.
- Lead facility tours and equipment orientations, monitors equipment use, and provides training/guidance on all equipment to ensure member safety.
- Maintain core knowledge of Wellness Center services, programs, and events. Encourages member participation and actively communicates new initiatives and new Wellness Center programs.
- Run and compiles Wellness Center statistical reports to monitor peak-times and utilization of wellness programs.
- Relieve on duty lifeguard for breaks and lunch. Monitor pool activities to identify potential accidents and enforce al rules and safety policies, ensuring all swimmers are safe.
What it Takes
To be eligible for this elite opportunity you must meet the following criteria:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- 0-2 years of related work experience preferred
- Must obtain and/or maintain certifications for Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, and AED
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Interested in health promotion and wellness programs
