Summary of Position

The position of Financial Analyst within FP&A will be responsible for working with Finance leadership, & cross-functional departments in the business. The primary responsibilities will include supporting the SharkNinja Marketing organization. Reporting to the Manager of FP&A, this position is part of a dynamic team that works in a fast-paced environment, where keen attention to detail and an ability to partner with the business is crucial to success.

Essential Functions

Key member of the FP&A team supporting the North America Marketing organization.

Forecast and analyze financial elements related to marketing initiatives and budgets.

Support the month-end close process for marketing expenses, partnering closely with accounting and business partners to ensure accurate and timely financial analysis.

Build & generate analysis from a variety of different data sources and functional groups on a global basis.

Ad hoc analytics and other duties, including special projects, as assigned.

Develop and refine internal reporting processes for marketing spend, leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

Create analysis and presentations that condense complex topics into actionable information that is communicated effectively to the business

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required

Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work or internship experience in Finance/ Accounting.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills required, especially the need to have exceptional modeling skills in Excel. Experience with Power BI preferred.

Previous experience with budgeting and analysis, preferably in consumer products or retail.

Effective communication and social skills, proven ability to partner cross-functionally

Proven analytical and organizational skills, with strong accountability

Demonstrated ability to lead competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Domo or Adaptive Insights experience a plus
