JOB SUMMARY:

The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for prioritizing and scheduling commercial, industrial, and EPG service work in the field and offering exceptional customer service. This individual must present accurate quotes to the customer, open revenue and work orders, and develop and maintain good relationships with the customer, technicians, and other team members.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • An associate's degree is preferred.
  • Must have five years of field service operations or similar experience.
  • Three years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of heavy equipment.
  • Must have industry knowledge and a technical background with the products sold and serviced.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Must be a highly motivated individual.
  • Must possess strong computer skills and understand CAT information retrieval systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, leadership, adaptability, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the job duties, the supervisor is occasionally required to sit, push, pull, and balance. Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, squat, knee, balance, and use hand to finger, feel, or operate objects. Occasionally, heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) is required. Driving motor vehicles and heavy equipment is occasionally needed. Climbing stairs and ladders is occasionally required. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate equipment. Specific visual abilities needed for this job include close vision and adjusting focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
