As a Field Personnel & Competency Leader - Flexible Pipe Systems you will lead our Field Personnel & Competency team, focused on developing and maintaining the technical capabilities of our field teams in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence.
As a Field Personnel & Competency Leader - Flexible Pipe Systems you will be responsible for:
Developing and implement competency frameworks and training programs to ensure field personnel meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
Conduct competency assessments and training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement
Design and deliver training programs, including classroom and field-based training, to enhance field personnel technical capabilities
Collaborate with operations teams to identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to drive continuous learning and improvement
Develop and maintain documentation, including training plans, competency matrices, and training records
Conduct performance metrics tracking and analysis, and provide recommendations for improvement
Work closely with the Competence Manager to develop and implement Competence Management Systems (CMS)
Provide coaching and mentoring to field personnel on technical and soft skills
Stay current with industry developments, trends, and best practices

To be successful in this role you will have:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Industrial Safety, Engineering, Technical Training)
10+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on field operations and technical training
Proven track record of developing and implementing effective training programs and competency frameworks
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of learning and development principles, including adult learning theory and instructional design
Experience with Competence Management Systems (CMS) and technical training system
