The Diversity & Inclusion Intern will contribute to the development of employee resources to promote inclusion and belonging in the workplace and support compliance activity. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Brainstorming programs and communications that support equity & compliance in the workplace, planning and executing training, and analyzing data.

- Shadow D&I team members in meetings with employee groups and inclusion councils.

- Coordinate engaging, educational content for the HR community, leaders and employees to inform and encourage action. This activity will include collaborating with employee groups and various HR centers of excellence.

- Create Diversity & Inclusion content to be shared on internal platforms.

- Prepare communications, including but not limited to; welcome messages, weekly reports and program roll outs.

- Support data management for D&I programs, including compiling, collecting and reporting of metrics.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Business, Legal Studies, Marketing, Global/Cultural Studies or a related field.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and think independently
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint
- Candidate must be enthusiastic, a self-starter, have the ability to work in a group or independently and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in research, planning and execution of DEIB initiatives preferred

- Event planning skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $20,904 - $61,672. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
