We have a portfolio of meaningfully differentiated medications to treat serious medical conditions, including severe and persistent pain and ADHD.

Hybrid: Required to be onsite in Stoughton, MA on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Director, Forecasting & Commercial Analytics will be responsible for forecasting, business/ commercial analysis & reporting, mainly supporting Collegium’s Commercial business.  The main objective for the position is to understand and communicate the market dynamics for Collegium’s commercial business. This role will collaborate with Marketing & Sales, Market Access & Trade, Finance, and Commercial Operations to support our portfolio strategies.  They will build forecasts and analyses to inform and support strategic and tactical business decisions as well as provide insights related to performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement systematic approaches to create market-based and event driven forecasts for the commercial portfolio (and potential pipeline candidates) to support the budget cycles and long-range planning processes
    • Build and maintain forecasts to establish commercial goals and enable the team to make appropriate strategic & tactical business decisions
  • Provide data-based recommendations and analytical support to address senior management business questions, particularly where data is difficult to access or unreliable and where a high level of analytical skill is required
  • Prepare analyses on market trends, competitors, Collegium product performance, market opportunities and risks, on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis and ad hoc as needed
    • Develop tailored presentations to appropriately articulate performance across a broad range of internal/ external audiences (e.g. Commercial leadership, Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Investors)
  • Participate in the cross-functional Competitive Intelligence team; monitor the landscape, formulate and communicate key competitive insights
  • Develop and implement statistical methodologies and analytical approaches for utilizing various data (syndicated demand, trade, customer relationship management, etc.) to improve the predictive value of analyses
  • Collaborate within Commercial Operations to ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting (both ad hoc and throughout our internal systems)
  • Develop collaborative and productive relationships cross functionally with Marketing, Market Access & Trade, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to gain a complete and thorough understanding of market landscape and commercial potential and contribute to functional planning

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related business or science field required, Master of Business Administration preferred
  • 10+ years of experience forecasting and conducting business/commercial analysis in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry
  • Management consulting or finance experience preferred
  • Experience managing and leading cross-functional work
  • High level of business acumen, advanced quantitative and written/oral presentation skills, and very detail-oriented

Pay Range$199,500—$222,628 USD
