Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Credit and Collections Manager for our Columbus, Ohio location.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading the Credit and Collections transformation effort that ensure appropriate leaves of credit are being provided.
- Optimizes the Accounts Receivable and Credit & Collections processes and policies.
- Continuously identifies opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Takes ownership and resolves complex problems, identifies, recurring issues, and identifies possible root cause.
- Fosters and supports change within the organization to achieve strategic and operational objective.
- Assists the credit and collections team.
- Creates, develops, analyzes and presents findings of reports.
- Provides associates with regular coaching and performance feedback, developing reporting associates in their career development.
- Prepares and delivers annual performance evaluations.
- Partners with the sales team to build and maintain a working relationship that will result in cash collection and reduction of past due accounts.
- Maintains a clear understanding of the sales policy as it pertains to credit & collections and participates in ongoing training that supports credit risk management.
- Performs other duties as identified to support credit team or as directed by leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or another related field
- 2+ years of Supervisory or Leadership experience
- 5+ years in Credit & Collections experience
- Business to Business ( B2B) collections and credit experience preferred
- Prior experience in analyzing and interpreting credit reports and using accounting software.
- Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to read and write small letters and numbers: the ability to make arithmetic calculations: and the ability to understand and follow written and road instructions.
