The Role
We're looking for a sharp, strategic Copywriter / PR Specialist who can write like a human, champion our mission, and grow our national presence. You're equal parts storyteller and strategist-someone who can write an email that converts, land a brand story in national media, and craft messaging that builds trust at every touchpoint.
You'll work closely with our Marketing Project Manager to help break down creative briefs, turn strategic goals into compelling copy, and keep messaging aligned across projects and channels. You'll also report directly to our Chief Marketing & Experience Officer and collaborate across departments to tell the right story at the right time.

What You'll Do
- Craft original, on-brand copy across email, social, landing pages, video scripts, SMS, paid media, and more
- Build and execute PR campaigns to amplify company milestones, new product launches, partnerships, and thought leadership
- Pitch media and secure coverage in healthcare, consumer, tech, and lifestyle publications
- Develop brand messaging, voice/tone guidelines, and story frameworks to ensure consistency across channels
- Partner daily with our Marketing Project Manager to understand briefs, dissect deliverables, and keep projects moving
- Write for multiple audiences: from first-time customers to journalists to potential partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (growth, pharmacy, product) to bring campaigns to life
- Track performance, test copy, and iterate for conversion and brand lift
What Sets You Apart
- 4+ years of experience in copywriting, PR, or editorial
- Proven track record of media placements and/or brand storytelling in top-tier outlets
- Mastery of brand voice and tone-you know how to sound like a human, not a robot
- Ability to distill complex health topics into clear, empathetic messaging
- Background in journalism, public health, communications, or a related field
- Experience working with early-stage startups or fast-moving growth teams
- A love for words and metrics-you care about how your copy performs
- A portfolio that shows you can write punchy headlines, thoughtful longform, and high-converting email
- Bonus: Experience managing brand crises, thought leadership ghostwriting, or podcast guest booking
