Senior Copywriter, Marketing Full-time, contract position March - December (with potential for extensions) Remote is an option, needs to be able to work West Coast hours. (With one trip per quarter to headquarters) Job overview eero, an Amazon company, is looking for a senior tech-oriented copywriter to join our marketing team. Youll help them continue to tell a unique and compelling story about eero to multiple audiences. Whether youre writing headlines for display ads, leading copy projects for print materials, website copy, packaging, or scripts for a video, youre driven by the true potential of the written word and understand that content isnt just about grabbing attention; its about creating a relationship with our audience. Youre a critical thinker who can bring ideas to life, can keep the details and statistics for different devices in your head and can help simplify the complicated. Your role on the team will be to work with creative leads, stakeholders, and designers to help launch new products, ads, and help with blog entries throughout the year. You can quickly gain a deep understanding of our audiences, products, brand positioning, and product value propositions. What you'll do: Meet with internal partners across marketing, product, and beyond to help shape the strategy, ideation, and execution of high-quality creative. Collaborate with brand designers to come up with creative solutions for producing an impactful outcome. Communicate complicated technology topics in clear, concise ways to a non-technical audience. Be confident in articulating writing decisions to a variety of different partners and stakeholders, and presenting work to C-Suite leadership team. Manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously. Manage project schedules and deadlines to a professional standard. Build strong relationships and cross-collaboration with internal teams (product design, product marketing etc.) Partner with designers, strategists, producers, and developers to create quality and impactful work. Were looking for someone who has: 5-8+ years of copywriting experience at an agency and/or in-house. The ability to create content for any medium. A flexible, team-oriented attitude and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. Experience concepting and executing projects with multiple stakeholders and collaborating closely with strategic partners and designers. Excellent communication, writing, editing, and presentation skills. A portfolio with at least five writing samples that show-off a variety of different types of projects. A great eye for detail.
