Do you have a few years of hands on content strategy and design experience? Are you comfortable levering various types of data to solve user problems and measure impact?

Our client, a global financial services company, is looking for a Content Strategist to assist their team for 6 months with possible full-time conversion, hybrid, onsite 3 days a week in Columbus, OH or Plano, TX.

This team views a Content Designer as a partner to a UX Designer and they think of content as an experience.

They are currently in delivery on a major customer facing project right now so the Content Strategist will work closely with an Experience Design Lead on the team to keep the lights on with this project (keep an eye on Jira tickets, assist with occasional design update requests due to maybe a disclaimer changing, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Execute content strategy and solutions that follow best practices and fulfill project/platform requirements (business goals, customer goals, controls, deadlines)
• Communicate expectations within the Design team for standards of quality using creative direction and critique
• Direct the structural design of platform and product experiences (navigation, labeling, flow), and the development of metadata to support search and browse, and to tie into navigation and data metrics beyond the product and platform
• Deliver content components (UI language, product education, etc.) across the CRM platform
• Leverage and contribute to different kinds of data (research findings, analytics) to identify and solve user problems and measure impact
• Use and actively contribute to content systems (standards, voice and tone, messaging, and accessibility libraries)
• Present work and articulate content decisions to senior design leadership
• Lead adherence in content governance and approvals process
• Work with company-wide content design team to improve UX and ensure consistency across channels and experiences
• Communicate project status updates to the team design manager who will update Monday.com accordingly

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of related content/UX design experience
• Proficient using Figma and FigJam
• Experience from a complex industry (financial services or healthcare, etc.) and familiar with regulatory considerations
• Comfortable advising on content best practices, UI/UX patterns, usability best practices, how things are labeled, etc. 
• Experienced enough to be self-directed
• Proven grasp of the fundamentals of good usability practices
• Familiarity with the double diamond process is a plus but not required
