The Compliance Team promotes the development of a positive compliance culture, ethical decision making throughout BCG via the effective management of compliance programs. The team develops the strategy, capabilities, knowledge, tools and trainings to empower BCG staff to act in accordance with our Values and Code of Conduct.
In this position you will be working closely with the Compliance team assisting us to design and implement various compliance projects (e.g., develop and execute compliance trainings, draft ‘how-to’ compliance toolkits and guidance, provide education on policies and ethical issues, produce critical insights on internal and external compliance trends and topics, develop compliance dashboards and board level reporting to inform decision making,) at BCG.
You will learn about compliance risks and regulatory compliance topics that BCG as a global organization faces on a day-to-day basis as well as how our team identifies and prioritizes those compliance risks. Finally, you will learn about what actions we take to mitigate compliance risk through different compliance initiatives and how we manage cultural change.
Additionally, you will participate in cross-functional project collaboration and teaming in a complex global corporation while working with a team of international colleagues and internal customers.

Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in Northeastern University and approved by the university to participate in the January to June 2025 co-op cycle
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong working knowledge of MS- Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with data analytics (e.g. use of pivot tables, vlookup, macros in Excel) and ability to synthesize data into key outputs for leadership. Experience with Tableau, Power BI is a plus
Experience with collaboration tools such as Slack and Trello is desirable
Interest in Compliance, ethics and culture of business integrity
Ability to adapt and prioritize with a changing workload
Strong interest in international business, cultures and learning how business practices vary around the world (e.g., researching countries for changes to business landscape). This role will include working with a team of international colleagues and internal customers. Prior international experience/exposure is a plus.
Prior professional/co-op experience is strongly preferred (experience at multi-national professional services firm is a plus)
Prior experience working in a team environment (e.g., work, academics, athletics); being an effective team player will be a critical success factor in this role

Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment while fostering and maintaining relationships and business networks.
Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the minimum duration of the co-op cycle
