Position Description:
Step into an instrumental role in our Concord NH primary office location. Help conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced-and friendly-financial planning and investment office. Work as an employee of an award winning, nationally ranked, independent advisor franchisee in a private wealth practice of Ameriprise Financial. This position offers excellent exposure to, and opportunity for growth in, both the front and back office. Channels for growth include Paraplanner to Advisor, Operations, and Practice Management.
The Specialist will primarily assist Financial Financial Advisor(s) in the financial planning and investment workflow. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.
This role provides client relationship support through managing, gathering, and analyzing client data, helping to prepare preliminary financial and investment planning as well as client meeting follow up and deliverables. It Includes working with clients to resolve ad-hoc issues and special projects as required.
Responsibilities and time allocation will change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by Financial Advisor(s) or Leadership.
Position Functions:
Financial Planning & Advice/Product Solutions:
Prepare preliminary financial planning and meeting preparation using proprietary Ameriprise tools
Prepare appropriate sales material and paperwork for new accounts, product applications, account maintenance and related client service
Monitor account asset allocations and models as directed by Advisor, trading activity, maturing securities, client suitability, and fiduciary account review process
Client service & Management:
Emphasis on delivering a "WOW" client experience that defines and differentiates the Practice
Maintain consistent client contact, profiles, and servicing schedules using Salesforce client relationship management tool
Resolve or triage client questions/issues, as appropriate to the role
Complete transactions, money movement, and routine client account maintenance
Perform other allowable duties as assigned by Financial Advisor(s)

Adherence and respect for rules and regulations as stated and required by advisor, Ameriprise Financial, and regulatory agencies

Ability to travel to satellite office locations within the state of NH
Education and Other Designations:
College degree preferred, some college considered
Previous industry experience prioritized, previous client service or office experience preferred
If not already appropriately licensed, growth in the Practice will require federal and state licenses and registrations for securities, including Series 7, Series 66, and State life, accident and health insurance licenses.
Willingness to pursue licensing, certifications, and designations within the finance industry
Position Information:
Fulltime: Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5
Primary Location: Onsite, Concord, NH
Pay rate: Commensurate with experience
