Avesta Housing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work at our assisted living facility, 75 State Street. The role of CNA is to provide high quality care to the residents of the facility that is consistent with procedures outlined by Health Services and the mission of 75 State Street.

What We're Looking For
The person who is ready for this opportunity will have 1 or more years' experience as a CNA and meet the following requirements:
- Excellent judgment
- Caring attitude
- Detail oriented
- Good communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with others and portray a positive, team-player attitude
- Experience working with the elderly in a personal care environment preferred.
- Graduate of approved CNA training program and active placement on State of Maine CNA Registry.
- Good written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate effectively to residents, family, staff, and outside facilities and vendors.
- Ability to meet facility and state immunization requirements.
- Commitment to quality services and treating residents with dignity and respect.
- Ability to work effectively with others and portray a positive, team-player attitude.
- Must be at least 16 years or older.

This is a non-exempt/hourly position that pays $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, plus any applicable shift differentials.
Day, evening, and night shifts are available!
Day Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm
Evening Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Night Shift: 10:30pm - 7:00am
