Job Title:Capital Projects Sourcing Manager

Pay Rate Range: $95,000 - $105,000 base, plus annual performance bonus

Overview:The Capital Projects Sourcing Manager will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing strategic sourcing and procurement activities related to capital projects and national agreements. This role involves developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery timelines for materials, equipment, and services required for capital projects. The manager will negotiate contracts in close alignment with key stakeholders, including Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing:Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement while ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
- Supplier Management:Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors; maintain strategic relationships for reliable delivery.
- Contract Negotiation:Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms, mitigate risks, and align contracts with project objectives.
- Cost Management:Analyze budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities; manage change orders in alignment with project managers.
- Risk Management:Assess and mitigate supply chain risks; develop contingency plans for potential disruptions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work with engineering, finance, operations, and project management to align sourcing activities.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:Establish KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and develop reports to track project status and savings.
- Compliance and Ethics:Ensure adherence to company policies and promote ethical business practices.
General Requirements:
- Support and coordinate with TA Sourcing and Group Procurement.
- Engage stakeholders through clear communication and drive continuous improvement.
- Commitment to continuous learning and mentoring within procurement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years in capital sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in capital-intensive industries.
- Experience with large capital projects; familiarity with federal and state projects is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and cost/risk analysis.
- Proficiency in sourcing tools, Microsoft Office, and project management tools; experience with SAP (S4/HANA) and Tableau/DOMO is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and drive change.
