Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
- Manage and maintain in-house facility drawings, including all building floorplans and associated disciplines. This includes implementing as built / new work changes to master site facility drawings to maintain accuracy.
- Perform requested new CAD development on site that is not subcontracted outside of our organization. Maintain and support an automated / manual Document File Retrieval System.
- Management of both Albany Nanotech Complex and tenant facility documents.
- Communicate requested site information to all approved stakeholders of a given project.
- Perform construction drawing reviews to confirm NY CREATES document control standards are followed throughout phases of development.
- Following NY CREATES sponsored approval, distribute facility drawings and application drawing files to off-site Architects / Engineering firms and associated stakeholders involved within a given project for the purpose of assisting in modifications performed onsite.
- Transfer existing historic facility drawings into an electronic file format and implement the process for archival into our electronic system.
- Maintain organized, clean documentation for tool install packages and ability to retrieve those documents upon request.
- Maintaining current overall tool layout drawings in conjunction with Tool Install CM / Design company(s).
- Proficient use of any new software, provide guidance and research related to software which department may need to embrace to remain current with industry standards.
- Maintain existing application licenses and printer maintenance contracts related to facility drawing duplication and scan.
- Support Facilities Engineers with developing "Process Flow Diagrams" for building, site systems.
- Work directly with engineers to define milestones for development of PFDs.
- Shall support Facilities Engineering with CAD design as directed by engineers.
- Understanding of design symbology and drafting techniques for respective disciplines required in Facility development as stated in the United States National CAD Standards.
- Assisting with coordination of Closeout Documents between General Contractor and NY CREATES.
- Finalize turnover documentation for construction projects on site to compile a complete set of as-built data and for contractor to receive final payment.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Associates Degree in CAD design or related field from a technical school, college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CAD trained individual in a facilities engineering organization.
- Proficiency on Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong communication, organization, and conceptual skills.
- Capable of working both individually and in a team environment on a variety of projects and tasks.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency on Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Proficiency in Revit, Procore, and/or Bluebeam.
- Having worked at a major semiconductor manufacturer, or with a supplier to the semiconductor industry is preferred.

Salary Range: $28.85- $38.46/ hour
*Posted salary ranges re determined upon experience and education.
