Full Job Description
The Educational Services Commission of New Jersey Assistant Business Administrator for Cooperative Purchasing (12) month Position Under the direct supervision of the School Business Administrator, the Assistant Business Administrator for Cooperative Purchasing will support the Educational Services Commission of New Jersey (ESCNJ) Cooperative Purchasing System by being responsible for developing and expanding the membership base, special project management, developing and monitoring a marketing budget, and supervising staff. Must have at least (5) years of experience as a Qualified Purchasing Agent (QPA) for a New Jersey Public School District and provide examples of conducting various procurement methods mentioned in below section. QPA required SBA Certificate or CE Required MBA, MSBA Preferred CPA preferred Will be responsible for the ESCNJ Cooperative Purchasing System and its membership that complies with the New Jersey Public School Contracts Law, Federal procurement code, and other applicable laws and administrative codes. Will assist the School Business Administrator in implementing ESCNJ Cooperative Purchasing System budgetary planning and implementation. Will ensure the operations of the ESCNJ Cooperative Purchasing System are managed efficiently and in compliance with N.J.A.C. 5:34-7.1 et seq., and the rules, regulations, and practices set by the New Jersey Division of Local Government Services. Conduct both out-of-state and in-state market analyses to benefit the ESCNJ Cooperative Purchasing System and better serve its membership.
