Partner with the best

The Pre-Sales Solution Architect is the key partner to sales team that helps uncover customers' current challenges and pains, propose solution that address these challenges and articulate and advocate Baker Hughes unique value proposition. Also contributes to develop vision on an important market on the level of a product line with a long-term perspective. Contributes in the development and execution of business plans and drive initiatives for the required business growth and success for the APM and digital offering from ARMS and Cordant Solutions' unique portfolio of services and software.

As the Technical Sales Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Being a trusted technical advisor on the Commercial Sales Team, aligning capabilities to specific outcomes, creating reference architectures, and calculating potential solution value.
  • Handling opportunities for reliability services, consultancy and software tools requiring technical knowledge and knowledge of the environment where the products or systems will be used. Products and systems are client specific and require technical analysis and customization to fit client conditions.
  • Supporting the complex long-term sales processes as a techno-commercial owner for the solution mix and assuring the success in the short and long term strategies.
  • Working in the multi-disciplinary sales and pre-sales team with all internal stake holders including Sales, Commercial Operations, Services and Execution, Product line and Technology among others.
  • Handling big or highly complex markets with potential for growth

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology or similar field from an accredited university or college and 5+yrs of related experience.
  • Extensive experience in Sales/Pre-Sales or Services within Asset Management & Reliability solutions, Asset Performance Management, and Solution Architecture.

  • Strong proficiency in asset reliability and asset integrity concepts, including RCA, RCM, and FMEA

  • Able to travel upwards of 50% within North America
