Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Location: 9600 Boeckman Rd, Wilsonville, OR 97070

Duration: 6 months (possibility for extension )

Shift: 1^st

Details:

• The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly of mechanical components of automation equipment per supplied mechanical drawings and the assembly of pneumatic components. The Mechanical Assembler collaborates with individuals and departments and should have basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written instructions.
• Assemble parts or products:
• Assemble doors
• Perform basic measurements: Tape, scale, calipers, Metric, SAE, and conversion. per pneumatic diagrams.
• Follow instructions for tube forming.
• Ensure quality, look for faulty components during the assembly process.
• Mechanical aptitude, (not as much pneumatics)
• Need to be able to read/write in English
• Ability to operate hand tools/power tools
• Supporting battery line
• Taking batteries out, put bus bars on the batteries
• Repetitive movement
• Deconstruction of cabinets

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma/or equivalent are required for this position.
• Two to five years' experience as a mechanical assembler with recent high tech mechanical assembly experience.
• One to two years of machine building experience is strongly desired
