Senior Mechanical Engineer; FuelCell (Danbury, CT). Develop & utilize math models to design fuel cell components & systems. Analyze designs utilizing engineering calculations, computer-aided engineering tools &/or test data. May work from home up to 2 days/week; 5% domestic/international travel requirement. Must have at least a bachelor's or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field & at least 5 years experience in Mechanical Engineering or related role (OR bachelor's & 7 years of progressive experience). Must possess: 3 years with ANSYS Fluent CFD software; 2 years with fuel cell stack interface hardware; 2 years carrying out mechanical engineering duties, e.g.: conceptual design, computational fluid dynamics analysis, creating drawings specs, lab component test, vendor fabrication quoting, & materials selection; 2 years with Autodesk Inventor CAD & Autodesk Vault file management software; & 1 year with bolt torque calculations for bolted joins including with gasketed interfaces.
