As aSoftware Test Engineerhere at Honeywell Smart Energy you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, identify and troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in our testing processes. You will be working on a team that develops, deploys, and maintain electronics manufacturingtest systems. Thesetest systemsare responsible for testing the printed circuit board assemblies that go into Honeywell's Smart Metering products.
Key Responsibilities
- Your expertise inSQL Server,C#language, andVisual Basicwill be instrumental in developing and maintaining automatedtest scriptsand tools.
- Develop and execute test plans andtest casesto ensureproduct qualityand functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues and drive resolution.
- Develop and maintain automatedtest scriptsand tools usingSQL Server,C#, Phyton, andVisual Basic.
- Oversee testing activities atcontract manufacturingsites, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Deploy and validate test equipment at the different contract manufacturers in USA, Mex or India
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
- May include travel up to 10-25% to contract manufacturingsites to oversee testing activities and ensure compliance with quality standard
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 5+ years of experience in advanced test orsoftware developmentor a related field.
- Strong knowledge ofSQL Server,C#,Python, andVisual Basic.

- Bachelor's degree inComputer Scienceor similar.
- Experience inmanufacturing, industrial automation or a related industry is of value.
- Experience in developing and maintaining automatedtest scriptsand tools.
- Knowledge ofFlash JTAG testing methodologies is of value.
- Experience withfirmwaredownload and flashing microprocessors
- Experience with Database &Server management
- Experience maintaining Computers and Servers
