What you’ll do:
- Daily posting of cash receipts, previous day’s revenue and reconciling lockbox deposits to open accounts receivable.
- Apply and process payments to customer accounts by ACH, check and credit card.
- Identify payment discrepancies, perform detailed payment research and dispute resolution; performs follow up procedures and customer account reconciliation.
- Submit daily invoices and monthly statements to third party mailing service to ensure timely billing.
- Maintain and link all sales tax exemption certificates to third party processor.
- Prepare various financial and accounting forms and logs.
- Work together with Customer Service Representatives to address all payment issues; analyze, research and resolve all emails daily regarding payment discrepancies to ensure the Customer’s needs are addressed timely.
- Assist in the collection efforts of overdue accounts and with credits and adjustments.
Who you are:
- Detailed oriented and organized working in a highly transactional environment.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Incredibly organized.
What you’ve done:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Cash Application and Payment Posting processes.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
- Experience using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software to record, store and analyze financial data. Experience with SAGE or SAP is a plus
