The Northeast Indiana Veterinary ER & Specialty Hospital (NIVES) is offering $2500 sign on bonus for a full- time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team on 2nd shift!
NIVES is a 24-hour referral and critical care hospital located in Fort Wayne, IN. NIVES provides specialized care in Small Animal Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Critical Care Services. We serve the clients of NE Indiana, SE Michigan & SW Ohio.

Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, and have strong multi-tasking skills. All candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle difficult situations with sensitivity and tact.

Schedule:

2nd shift - alternating weekends off
10- and 12-hour shifts, set schedule

Compensation:

Compensation is based on experience and skill level.
$2500 hiring bonus!
We offer shift & weekend shift differentials.

RVT Responsibilities:

Assisting DVMs
Patient Restraint
Advanced CPR training
Intensive care nursing
Anesthesia monitoring
Blood draws
Administering medications
Radiology
Client communication/patient discharge
Must be interested in caring for patients with complex medical needs.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
VTNE and state license.
