Overview
NJM Insurance Group is looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting in our Personal Lines Workforce Management Team. If you are majoring in Operations Management, Business and or Analytics/Statistics this internship will give you the real world experience that you are hoping for.
To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in upcoming and current projects.
Intern Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming requests from supervisors in the contact center
- Escalate risks
- Maintain various Excel reports.
- Provide oversight of call arrival patterns in a manner that maximizes use of staff.
- Take appropriate action to ensure contact center service goals are met by recommending and implementing scheduling solutions across the department.
- Support Data Analysis projects that play a role in call arrival patterns, seasonality trends and productivity measures for forecasting models
Intern Requirements:
- Current Juniors who will be rising Seniors for the summer of 2025
- Major Operations Management, Business and or Analytics/Statistics
- Must have 3.0 GPA or higher, overall
- Self-directed learner with the ability to learn quickly and pursue Internship with enthusiasm and focus Advance skills in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
- Ability to work well on a team or individually
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to learn Property & Casualty Insurance
- Ability to pass an NJM pre-employment background check and drug test
