Position Summary:
- Identifies incoming merchandise and unloads it to wooden carts separated by location in warehouse
- Distributes received merchandise to the appropriate areas
- Fills in Bulk Skid Log for all merchandise being taken to a backstock location
- Maintains the daily receiving log sheet by filling in all pertinent information completely
- Rotates all stock in shop supplies when putting away
- Takes all packaged merchandise out of master carton or bag when stocking on shelf
- Labels part numbers onto vendor boxes
- Performs visual inspection of all incoming merchandise for quality and correct identification
- Accurately receives merchandise while maintaining a high production level
- Pull merchandise from back stock to primary location
- Removes all product shipping package
- Receives all transfer with scanner
Qualifications:
- This position requires the ability to read and write small letters and numbers, the ability to make arithmetic calculations, and the ability to understand written and oral instructions
- This position requires the ability to concentrate and to communicate with management and co-workers
- This position requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions
- This position requires the ability to lift objects weighing seventy (70) pounds
- This position requires the ability to maintain a level of less than 2 errors in a 4-week period
- Able to drive a stand up and sit-down forklift safely
Additional Information:
$18.00 per hour pay rate, plus the opportunity for $200 monthly bonuses
The hours are 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday- Friday
